About ECFL
Founded in 2016, Empowering Communities For Life (ECFL) is a charity dedicated to promoting education, equality, inclusivity, and health well-being. Our mission is to create sustainable and positive change in communities, particularly focusing on those facing significant challenges.
Our Work in The Gambia
ECFL has been working intimately with communities in The Gambia, a country in western Africa, since our inception. Our efforts are concentrated on addressing the pressing issues of poverty, physical and mental ill-health, lack of educational resources, and limited support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We believe that by tackling these issues head-on, we can help build stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities.

Our Impact
Since 2016, ECFL has implemented various programs and initiatives to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities in The Gambia. From building schools and providing educational materials to offering health services and supporting children with SEN, our work is making a tangible difference.
